I’m pleased to announce that I’ve arranged for a photo workshop Oct. 5-9 in Chicago, IL where we’ll explore the art and architecture of this beautiful city while learning a variety of creative photographic techniques.
Chicago is one of my favorite cities to photograph. It’s more open and accessible than New York, and has tons of local flavor to offer. It’s the perfect place to perfect creative photography techniques, too, including:
Creative composition
Long exposure
HDR
Texture blending
Monochrome
On this workshop, I’m also including some local fun: An architectural boat tour on the Chicago River (perfect for getting unique shots of the downtown buildings) and a foodie walking tour of downtown that will give us the tastes of Chicago!
We’ll visit different vantage points to capture both the traditional and the unusual city scenes. I’ve limited this event to eight photographers; I hope you will be one of them. I’ve even added an iPhone option for people who just want to use their smartphones on the workshop. I have tips for you, too!
