Abandoned car in the Nevada desert near Nelson (infrared image) | © Jason P. Odell

Happy Friday! This shot is one that I captured while leading a photo workshop in and around Las Vegas, Nevada, in 2014. The small town of Nelson, Nevada is home to a “ghost town” of old buildings, cars, and other relics. I liked this old car, but being that there were no clouds that day, the light was unflattering. I switched over to my infrared camera and made this shot.
