Here’s a shot from my brief visit to Northern Ireland last fall. It was a particularly nice day, and we walked into the small town of Lisburn. This building caught my eye; the bright colors really popped in the morning sun. It was only after I got home that I took time to read the mural more carefully!
You’d think that with a name like Madrí, this beer would be a Spanish import. Nope, I looked it up and this is a beer developed and brewed right in the UK (Northern Ireland is part of the UK, by the way). So there we have it. The soul of Madrid, brewed in the UK.
